While you may begin the intake process with SouthCoast Fair Housing (SCFH) by calling us, we encourage you to instead submit an inquiry through our new portal by clicking here. We welcome your feedback as we continue to implement this new portal into our intake process.

SCFH is a non-profit fair housing center dedicated to eliminating housing discrimination, promoting housing choice, and facilitating open housing in Rhode Island, Southeastern Massachusetts, Cape Cod & the Islands, and beyond. To advance this mission, SCFH provides fair housing counseling, education and outreach, investigations, legal representation, impact litigation, and policy advocacy.

Providing information to SCFH does not guarantee assistance or legal representation. Your fair housing inquiry may be reviewed by fair housing intake staff for intake or investigative purposes only. You may be contacted by SCFH for additional information to complete this review.

SCFH works to keep information provided to us confidential. However, submitting this form and communicating with SCFH does not create an attorney-client relationship.

Please be aware that fair housing complaints are time-limited by applicable laws. Submitting an inquiry here or otherwise communicating with SCFH will not delay or prevent such deadlines from passing. You may initiate a formal fair housing complaint if you wish with the Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination (if in Massachusetts) or the Rhode Island Commission for Human Rights (if in Rhode Island), in court, or with other agencies.

As a condition of funding that supports SCFH’s fair housing services, SCFH may provide its funders with information about the inquiries that SCFH receives. However, SCFH makes every effort remove identifying information from the data it provides its funders.
