April 4 – MLK Commemoration Youth Art Showcase
Join us for a night with Martin Luther King Jr. and RI Youth Artists. Nearly 100 youth artists from across RI took part in our poster submission contest in commemoration of MLK. April 4th, 2018 will mark 50 years since King’s murder which took place in Memphis while supporting striking Black sanitation workers. The work these youths have created is inspiring and a perfect depiction of King’s continued fight and everlasting legacy.
